‘Absolute Beginner Talk’ is a blog I started 12 years ago. Don’t be fooled by the name though. The content of the blog is mainly orientated around hardware, software and knowledge.
From the author’s perspective ‘Absolute Beginner Talk’ is a small unstructured ‘resource’ caring to explain certain questions, issues, tutorials in depth. All based on product ownership, interest or experience.
The main categories ‘Absolute Beginner Talk’ offers are:
- Hardware (Apple, MacBook, MacBook Pro).
- Software (Mac OS X, Ubuntu Linux).
- Networks (Private, Freelance).
- General (News, tips, opinions).
The intended target audience is therefor enthusiasts who are reading into certain subjects and or issues. You might have found this blog through a search engine. A link provided by another blog or forum. At the very least I hope to have pointed you into the right direction.

I’ll always be gratefull to you Derek, including the fact that is the firt time that I am using Linux, you gave me a big hand with my problem. It is almost a week that I was trying to set my resolution of my laptop with Ubuntu 6.06. I’ve spent a lot of time on forums looking for somethins that can help me.
